International Forum on Traditional Chinese Medicine

Human civilization has entered the 21st century. Development of modern science and technology, social progress, alteration of human living environments and the aging of population have resulted in the changes of disease spectrum and mode of medical science. The human being nowadays faces many unprecedented challenges in health care. Back to nature and seeking health has become a common demand of the human society increasingly. "Health for all" is still an important task of the world health work in the new century. For accomplishing this goal, it needs mutual collaborations and joint efforts between the multiple disciplines of medicine, including traditional medicine. Therefore, it is of great significance on how to make the most of the unique advantages of traditional medicine scientifically and effectively, and to bring traditional medicine into full play in medical and health care, for developing and utilizing medical and health resources and bettering the health level of mankind.
We will hold the forum once every two years with different themes. And we believe that this forum will be a good opportunity to communicate with the experts, share their experience and exchange ideas.
